Todd Beresford

Todd Beresford is Senior Counsel and the Director of Workers Compensation at The Cleveland Clinic where he is responsible for the Ohio and Florida self-insured workers compensation programs as well as several large OCIP (Owner Controlled Insurance Program) construction programs.   He also oversees the Employer Liability Program for Cleveland Clinic London.  He has been on the Board of Managers of the Ohio Self-Insurers Association (OSIA) since 2019 and has served on the Executive Board since 2020.  He is currently serving as the President of the OSIA through June 2025.  He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Self-Insureds (FASI).   He also served as the President and Executive Director of the Iowa Self-Insured Association for over 11 years.  Todd was appointed by Governor Dewine to the Self-Insuring Employers Evaluation Board (SIEIB) where he currently serves after being confirmed by the Ohio Senate. Todd has over 23 years of experience in the workers' compensation industry including over 5 years as a practicing attorney.  He is a licensed attorney in Iowa, Ohio, and South Dakota.   When not working, Todd and his wife enjoy spending time following their 4 kid’s numerous events and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs, and the Cleveland Guardians and Browns.
